Welcome to the Wisconsin School of Business! We are excited to have you joining our exceptional instructional staff. This page will provide many important resources to help orient you to the teaching and learning atmosphere at WSB and UW-Madison. You can easily request support from our team in three ways:
Authorized faculty, staff, and graduate students may enter Grainger Hall before and after building hours with their WisCard. Learn how to get a new WisCard. Please wait 24 hours after obtaining a new WisCard to request access. To request building access please submit a Building Access Request.
Wisconsin School of Business faculty, staff, and graduate students can enter through the parking elevator vestibules and the main entrance of Grainger Hall located at the intersection of Park Street and University Avenue upon request. Undergraduate students can use the Huber Undergraduate Computer Lab entrance off University Avenue to access the lab and the business library after hours. Exceptions to the rules above can be made in extenuating circumstances.
If you have office furniture needs or need to report building issues, email fsssupport@wisc.edu

WSB offers a host of services to support students in both their personal and academic lives. In addition to the Grainger Business Library & Learning commons, there are tutoring services (BBSC), Success Coaching, mental health provider-in-residence, Multicultural Center, and more! For more information about all the student support services at WSB provides, visit our Student Support Services @WSB page.
Learn@UW refers to the suite of instructional technology supported by UW-Madison. The Learn@UW website lists the 12 products that are currently supported (this will be your most up-to-date resource). KnowledgeBase Documentation, commonly referred to as KB docs, are step-by-step how-to documents for most of the campus’ technology. Please be aware that selecting a learning technology that is not supported by Learn@UW means that neither your or your students will be able to request support from DoIT.
Canvas is our learning management system (LMS). All instructors are required to use Canvas for posting a syllabus. Most also use Canvas for distributing other learning materials and/or collecting student work. Generally, it is recommended that you use Canvas for recording student grades and delivering feedback on student work as it meets all FERPA compliance standards.
WSB also supports two additional tools: Harmonize (online discussions) and Feedback Fruits (Group evaluation tool). To learn more about these tech tools visit our New Tech for Teaching page.
