Some concepts require the instructor to show the process for coming to a solution. Being part of the process is part of the learning. For example, the instructor or students plot points on a graph or explain how to analyze data in a spreadsheet program. As the instructor, you orchestrate the demonstration or discussion.
Light board studios
Check out and use the Asynchronous and Synchronous Light Board Studios in Grainger Hall, which much like whiteboards, show how ideas come to fruition in real-time. In addition to light boards, these studios have high quality cameras and microphones, making them great for recording long-lasting content.
Hybrid Discussions
Use Zoom or BBCollaborate Ultra to facilitate a discussion or debate for a fully online or hybrid class. For hybrid classes, check out a Jabra microphone or ask in-person students to join the web meeting so online and in-person students can communicate.
Screen Capture
Record your screen in Camtasia, including but not limited to a PowerPoint presentation, a video with computer audio, or an Excel spreadsheet.
